Delicious vs. Google

To compare how Delicious and Google search on relevant topics, I chose to search "Ukraine" in each engine and see what results came up.

Delicious has a lot more international articles, probably because using Google here narrows the results down to mainly American articles. Both engines returned links to the NYTimes and the article about the Crimea currently stirring up trouble between Russia and the Ukraine. Other than that most of the articles are different, Delicious has a lot of blog pages and some lesser-known links that might be good for in depth research. Google, on the other hand, turned up mostly news articles and a couple of comprehensive articles used for research. Overall I would personally put my trust in Google's results as they are more tailored to what I would need if I just wanted to learn about the current conflicts in the Ukraine.

You may think that these feeds are just for telling consumers about events and things like that, but it can also be used to share about deals, or even just funny stories to bring attention to something that they offer. Employees can also benefit from these feeds, they can see about new policies and events in the business or to just follow the lives of the higher-ups and get more involved with the employers.

Best sushi I've ever had

I went with a couple friends to this sushi bar in Fayetteville called Sakura's. I've only been to about 5 sushi places, but this one was phenomenal. The styles I got were spicy crab, California roll, and crispy salmon. If you ever get a chance and you like sushi, this place will not disappoint.

WordPress vs Blogger

There are many, many blogger mediums out there, most free and some paid with premium options. Blogger, acquired by Google, is a totally free package where anyone with a Gmail account can create as many blogs as they would like. The panel is very user friendly and provides a simple portal to change any part of the blog and how it looks. Blogger can be used for monetizing as well, through Google Adsense, which places ads on the site and generates revenue.
WordPress, on the other hand, is a commercial solution that can be used for free (to an extent) but most features are premium and require a payment or subscription to use them. WordPress also offers up the ability to host your own site using WordPress by downloading the software from their website, this means you don't have to stick with the free hosting provided like with Google Blogger. WordPress offers custom, paid, designs and themes, as well as an ad-free option.
I have only used Blogger for a short time, and I really enjoy the features, but a lot of people that use WordPress will stand by that as the best blogging software, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Introduction

My name is Jordan Dees, I am 18 years old and currently enrolled in my last semester at Duplin Early College and James Sprunt Community College. My main passion is for computers and technology, as well as many TV shows, movies and anime.
Three of my favorite websites are pretty common ones, Instagram, Reddit and Youtube, I like to stay connected with my friends on Instagram, since it seems that everyone has one. Reddit is good not only for funny posts and pictures but also news and neat articles about nearly anything you could think of. Youtube and the Google franchise of sites can't go without mentioning, I like watching reviews of games and movies or just any video that catches my eye. My main use for this blog will probably be just sharing videos and links that I find interesting.
